Waec seized my resul thrice ==> Interview with Hon.Patrick Obahiagbon

This is a very interesting interview with Gbenro Adeoye of Punch Newspapres.I apparentl didn't understand most of it either! Did you write exams in school in these big words? I used such words very-very freely in my exams both at the secondary school and in my university and little wonder I had the misfortune of my English results being seized intermittently in my O' Levels. WAEC released my results for the other subjects and withheld my English result. This happened for about three years. Twice, I passed the University Matriculation Examination but I could not proceed to the University because of my English results that were not released. At the end of the day, it was released after the third attempt.Y do U alwys speak 'big grammar'? I am not really consensus ad idem with those who opine that my idiolect is advertently obfuscative.

Ozil sets sights on trophies

Record signing Mesut Ozil is confident he can fit into the Arsenal side and help end their quest for a first trophy in almost a decade. The 24-year-old Germany international completed a club- record transfer from Real Madrid on deadline day for a fee believed to be £43million as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger finally delivered a marquee signing. Ozil made his mind up to leave after being told he no longer figured in the first-team plans of Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti following the world-record signing of Gareth Bale from Tottenham. The German is now determined to make a major impact with the Gunners alongside the likes of Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott and Santi Cazorla as the team look to deliver some silverware to finally follow the 2005 FA Cup into the Emirates Stadium trophy cabinet. "I want to improve myself further and I am looking forward to the style of play.
