Nigeria Football Federation unveils World Cup jersey for Brazil 2014

The Nigerian Football Federation today February 27th unveiled a brand new jersey our national team would use during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The jersey,which is lemon green,will be officially launched on March 5th when the Super Eagles meet Mexico in a pre-world cup friendly which will take place in Atlanta, Georgia. According to the Head Marketing of the NFF, Adama Idris, the jersey was designed to suit the weather condition in Brazil.

House of Reps reject Pres. Jonathan's decision to remove Sanusi

House of Reps members are fighting back! According to this tweet from Hon. Abike Dabiri, the House has rejected President Jonathan's decision to suspend Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as CBN governor.

Skales leaves EME

It's confirmed. Skales (pictured beside Banky W) has parted ways with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) after over 3 years with the label. There was no fight, disagreement or any drama like that, the label just didn't renew his contract after the one they had with him expired in January 2014. Skales has removed EME from all his social media accounts and is planning to manage his music career himself with the help of management company, M.et.al Management, going forward.

Jonathan sacks Stella Oduah, Orubebe, Oluboade and Yerima as ministers

President Jonathan today Wednesday February 12th sacked the embattled Minister of Aviation, Ms. Stella Oduah. He also sacked Godsday Orubebe (pictured right), Minister of Niger Delta; Caleb Olubolade, the minister of Police Affairs, and Yerima Ngama, Minister of State, Finance. Heard Ms Oduah will now focus on her Neighbour to Neighbour political campaign organization which she founded a few years ago. Also heard the other ministers were dropped for political reasons. All three of them are planning to run for governorship positions in their various states. Orubebe is running in Delta, Yerima in Yobe and Olubolade in Ekiti State, all under PDP.
