PHOTOS: Edo State ‘Go& Die’ Widow Appointed As The Special Assistant To Gov. Oshiomole

Another good news for the family of Mrs Joy Ifije, the widow who was insulted by Governor Adams Oshiomole. She is the perfect story of curse turned blessing. Ever since that day, her life has literally turned around, as she’s been offered support from all sides. She earlier rejected a N250,000 sum from the Edo state PDP chapter, but has accepted N2million and now a job as the the Special Assistant to the Governor on Environmental Issues. See photo of her with her kids with her letter of appointment.

For failure to return to classroom, FUTO sacks all academic staff

For failure to return to classrooms, the Senate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO) has sacked all academic staff on its payroll with immediate effect. The sack order was made known by the Public Relations Officers (PRO) of the institution, Mr Chike Ezenwa, while speaking with the Nigerian Tribune in Owerri, through telephone. According to him, the senate of the university had declared all the positions of academic staff in the institution, adding that they would be advertised starting from Monday, December 2. The senate council, he explained, had already compiled the list of vacant positions in the school, adding that who were willing to resume would be adequately protected. Continue... Meanwhile, the FUTO branch of ASUU has said any attempt to break their ranks would be strongly resisted by their members. This was contained in a communiqué issued at the end o their meeting held on Monday, and signed by both the chairman and secretary, Dr Ikenna Nwachukwu and Dr F.M. Eke respectively. The communiqué urged members to ignore the resumption notice by FUTO management, adding that the branch would not engage in any academic activities until the Federal Government commited itself to implementing the ASUU-FGN agreement. Burna Boy was part of a gang that stabbed someone to death?

I did a double take after reading this report on Thenet.ng.
According to the investigative news portal, singer Burna Boy was part of a gang that stabbed someone to death in the UK in 2010. See it below... Burn Boy’s ‘uncontrollable’ mannerism and persona didn’t just start yesterday; NET investigations and sources have linked him to a criminal past, a period of his life he would rather not make public knowledge. We are told on good authority that while in the UK back in 2010, Burna Boy was arrested by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was tried as a minor and sent to jail. After 11 months, he was released and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of being of ‘good behaviour’. But Burna is said to have disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat. He later travelled back to the UK but was arrested at the airport and deported to Nigeria. He is currently barred from the UK for the next 15 years.Oh wait, or did they say he was the one who stabbed someone to death? Oh dear..
